# Heater control panel connection verifications

  1. Remove the four screws securing the HVAC control panel to the center console and gently pull on the unit bringing its wiring harness out for inspection.

  1. Remove any foreign objects or flammable materials like:
    1. Piece of insulating foam

    2. Blue production label (do not remove white cable identification labels)

    3. Bubble wrap around a component.

  1. Pay attention to the male spades behind the two fan switches (Figure 3). All male terminals must be in good condition and securely fastened behind the switches. None of the rivets (Figure 4) securing the terminals should be loose or detached. If any connector, terminal or rivet is faulty, replace them.

  1. Inspect all wires for the heating system and repair any wires that present any chaffing damage.

  1. Inspect 5A fuse for heating system lighting.
