Braking system type
#
Hydraulic braking system
There is a parking brake lever located on the floor, at the right of the operator seat.
Underhood, there is a standard master cylinder with a plastic brake fluid reservoir mounted on the firewall, near the steering column.

Pneumatic braking system
The parking brake is operated by a big yellow knob located on the dashboard.
Underhood, there is an air valve with green and red air tubes located on the firewall, near the steering column.

Rear suspension type
The front suspension of the LionC is always equipped with leaf springs, even when the rear suspension is pneumatic.

Leaf spring rear suspension
The rear axle is bolted on a thick leaf spring visible behind and in front of the rear wheels.

Pneumatic rear suspension
At the front of the rear wheels, the rear axle is located by a trailing arm attached to a mounting bracket equipped with an adjuster. At the back of the rear wheels, the shock absorber bolted to the frame rail is clearly visible.

Diesel heater system type
There are two types of diesel heater systems: Spheros (from Valeo) and Proheat (from Dometic).

Spheros
The metallic box containing the Spheros unit is made of stainless steel. It is bolted to the chassis rail, just behind the rear wheels, on the operator side.

Proheat
The metallic box containing the Proheat unit is made of black painted steel. It is bolted to the chassis rail, just behind the rear wheels, on the operator side.
