# 02-08 Gen4 - Safety Cut loop inspection

The LionC Gen 4 is equipped with two safety cut-loops that are linked to the high-voltage circuit. If a cut-loop is unplugged or cut, the HV circuit is immediately deactivated. However, both low-voltage circuits (12V and 24V) are still active.

One safety loop is attached to the last crossmember of the chassis, under the rear of the bus (Figure 1). The other one is located in the Low Voltage Distribution Unit (LVDU), the exterior electrical compartment below the driver side window (Figure 2). Both safety loops should be present and clearly labeled as such.
