# 02-07 HV battery pack vents inspection

Go under the bus and locate the venting cap (or “degassing unit”) on each battery pack. It’s a black square rubber part located next to the orange HV connector.

• Check that each venting cap does not exhibit any damage.

• Check the venting cap for pollutants and proper attachment. If applicable, try to tighten the screws again.

If any pollutant or damage impairs the function, remove and clean or replace the venting cap as required.
